🇰🇵 North Korea has sent around 8,500 troops to 🇷🇺 Russia, including UAV units, according to Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence (HUR).
— Most of the contingent is deployed in the Kursk region, including around 1,000 engineers and sappers and 400 drone operators.
— According to HUR, North Korean troops will mainly reinforce Russian rear positions, freeing up Russian units for deployment to other fronts.
— Around 25,000 North Korean troops have reportedly already been deployed or rotated through Russian forces.
— HUR also believes that Kim Jong Un may offer Putin up to 50,000 additional troops during their meeting in September.
