Day 6: Adey Ababa

Today’s prompt was Adey Ababa. I tried to take inspiration from the Adey flower but added my own layout and shape design. I also added the text “Adey” on it just to give it a simple touch. Honestly, I feel like I could’ve done more, but I got a bunch of other stuff to finish today—so this will do for now.

Sorry for the late post, I’ve been a bit busy—but no excuses! Here’s DAY 5 of the design challenge. The prompt was to design a logo for Gasha. Honestly, it was a bit tricky to find a symbol that fits the name for me. I sketched so many designs, but this is the one I decided to go with. Took inspiration from a real Gadha and added my own twist to it. Any thoughts ?

Day 4: Abrhot Library (3/15)

Today's prompt was Abrhot Library, so I took inspiration from the statue at the gate and the building’s columns. If you’ve been there, you definitely know the statue—it’s such an iconic part of Abrhot! So, I went with that and paired it with Amharic text in Addis Sans. Here’s the final result. What do you think?

Day 4 of Designweg's challenge, Abrehot / አብርሆት is one of the best and modern library Addis Ababa has to offer for any reader out here, unfortunately, the logo is very very unsettling and needs a complete redesign, hence here it is on our approach.
