Berlin police have launched an operation against a suspected Islamist after receiving information about a possible bomb plot. Local media said the suspect was a young Syrian man.
The operation in the German capital’s Marzahn district was directed at a person suspected of being on the “Islamist spectrum” and preparing “a serious crime,” Berlin police said, adding that 190 officers were involved in the raid.

According to the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, police were searching the apartment of a man suspected of planning a terrorist attack. The paper said the suspect was a 22-year-old Syrian, but the information was unconfirmed.

Berlin’s public prosecutor’s office later said the information about an “imminent Islamist bomb attack” had not been confirmed during the search, and the investigation was still ongoing.

German authorities have been on alert for possible terrorist plots during the holiday season. There was an attack in Berlin in 2016, when a failed asylum-seeker from Tunisia killed a truck driver and then rammed the vehicle into a packed Christmas market, killing 11 bystanders.

Last week, the long-awaited Home Office report into child grooming was finally published. Commissioned by former Home Secretary Sajid Javid, it was supposed to put the official spotlight on to one of the greatest scandals in British history – the systemic abuse of white working-class girls by Asian men.

Instead, it was a whitewash. Literally. The sole definitive conclusion, cast amid a jumble of Civil Service sophistry, was that 'research has found that group-based CSE [child sexual exploitation] offenders are most commonly white'.

The study had actually found no such thing. As Priti Patel pointedly acknowledged in her foreword: 'Some studies have indicated an over-representation of Asian and black offenders.

'However, it is difficult to draw conclusions about the ethnicity of offenders as existing research is limited and data collection is poor. This is disappointing because community and cultural factors are clearly relevant to understanding and tackling offending.'

It's not 'disappointing' – it's another appalling abdication of responsibility by officials and a system that has again failed the countless victims of Britain's Asian grooming gangs.

And instead of exposing the abuse and the abusers, the grooming report has provided a case study in the way the British Establishment continues to thwart any attempt to finally get a grip on an issue that shames our nation.

When Javid first announced an investigation to 'establish the particular characteristics and contexts associated with this type of offending', it created controversy. Especially when, a few weeks later, he greeted the conviction of a 20-strong Huddersfield grooming gang with the words: 'These sick Asian paedophiles are finally facing justice. I want to commend the bravery of the victims. For too long, they were ignored. Not on my watch.'

One other key area – the one Ms Patel was careful to highlight in her foreword – was the lack of hard data on the ethnicity of offenders. It was an issue Home Office aides kept using as a rationale for not drawing a clearer link to the predominance of Asian offenders found in countless high-profile grooming cases. But as one official explained: 'They were right, there wasn't any hard data. But that was because people didn't want to record it or look for it because they knew exactly what they would find.'

For the first time, the German government has taken action itself and is bringing captured German ISIS members back to Germany from northern Syria. The Federal Foreign Office has chartered a plane for the long-planned return transport of three women and their children as well as several orphans from Kurdish camps, and federal police officers are accompanying the flight.

According to newspaper BILD, the three adults are Leonora M. (21) from Sangerhausen, Merve A. (24) from Hamburg and Yasmin A. from Bonn.

The Federal Foreign Office (AA) is busily repatriating German ISIS women for the first time. The decision was made solely on humanitarian grounds, according to the AA. Several relatives of imprisoned Germans had successfully sued the German government for repatriation, but none of the court decisions have been implemented so far.

New Report Shows Militant Group Al-Shabab Collecting $15 Million A Month in Tax Revenue in Somalia.

What happens when a terrorist group collects almost as much in taxes from citizens than the government? A new report by the Hiraal Institute alleges that in Somalia this has been the case. The insurgent group al-Shabab is estimated to be collecting an approximate $15 million USD a month from Somali citizens. That’s $180 million USD a year. Anadolu Agency reported that in 2017 the Somali government’s overall tax revenue for the year was $141 million USD.

Al-Shabab has been conducting a brutal insurgency in Somalia since 2004 and effectively controls the southern half of the country. Even in the northern half, al-Shabab holds a large degree of influence as is evidenced throughout the findings of the Hiraal Institute report.

The report is the second in two years on the capabilities of al-Shabab’s domestic financing and tax collection. This report indicates a large jump in the capabilities of the group compared to just two years prior. The report is based off interviews with 70 bussinessmen, government officials, al-Shabab defectors and even current members of the group’s tax collection wing. The interviews took place in person and via the phone.

Hiraal’s findings show a well designed network of tax collection that is evolving over time. Current revenue streams for the group include placing a tax on the import and export of shipping containers at ports, an annual individual religious tax, a tax on irrigation in rural areas and the collection of tolls from checkpoints. Reuters reports that Hiraal’s findings come before a long anticipated “United Nations report expected to say al Shabaab is generating a significant cash surplus and moving millions of dollars through the formal banking system.”

According to Swedish Moderate Party MP Hanif Bali: “They are described by all amnesty advocates as having ‘education and jobs’. Pure lie.”

The consequences of open-door migration for EU citizens have not been a consideration for globalists. Later that same evening, he triggered the blast that killed 22 people and injured hundreds at the end of an Ariana Grande concert.

During the journey, Abedi collected a large rucksack containing the shrapnel-laden device from his city centre flat and also visited a cash machine before being dropped off at Manchester’s Shudehill bus station.

Abedi then took a tram to nearby Victoria rail station. Later that evening, he triggered the blast that killed 22 people and injured hundreds at the end of an Ariana Grande concert.

On Monday, taxi driver MR Nadeem told the inquiry into the attack he picked up Abedi on a fare from Piccadilly rail station at about 7.30pm.

He recalled Abedi asked him ‘are you a Muslim, brother’ as he drove to the first destination at Granby Row.

Mr Nadeem said: ‘The first thing that struck me was, he looked very weak. My first impression was that this was someone who might have some mental health issues or some other health issues….

Kadi Abed al-Hakim Samara called on worshippers to crowd together in mosques, while lashing out at the UAE for 'betraying' Palestinians by normalizing ties with Israel.

The president of Israel’s Islamic religious courts, Kadi Abed al-Hakim Samara, called on the public to violate coronavirus regulations on Facebook – and hinted that the United Arab Emirates betrayed the Palestinian by signing the peace agreement with Israel.

Al-Hakim Samara is the president of the Sharia Court of Appeals, the highest Muslim religious court in Israel.

Police arrested a 22-year-old Syrian migrant in the Evros region near the Greek border with Turkey in possession of ten Turkish-made Zoraki pistols.

The arrest took place on Tuesday in the village of Gemisti, which lies just minutes away from the border with Turkey. According to investigators, the migrant was also found with 8,000 ecstasy pills.

His arrest was as a result of a sting operation, during which an undercover Greek security officer posed as a buyer interested in purchasing firearms and drugs for €14,000.

The Hellenic Police (ELAS) say that the seizure is just one of many of Turkish-made weapons in the last several weeks, including an operation involving the European police agency Europol in November, the newspaper I Kathimerini reported on Thursday.
