Hi, I am an ENGENE and I want to talk about this topic as much as I know about it and clarify everything.
Mina, a 26-year-old girl, was one of the biggest fans of Ni-ki, a member of ENHYPEN. Mina attended most of the fansigns, concerts, and events, had many interactions with the members, and shared them. She was a kind and good-natured girl who only had a fan page for her idols and fangirled over her faves. She never sent hate to anyone and never disrespected anyone, and she definitely did not deserve what happened to her. Ni-ki even complimented Mina and considered her his dedicated Japanese fan, and they never had any problems with each other.
It seems that at the July 26 concert in Tacoma, Mina had prepared two bouquets, one bouquet of roses for Ni-ki and one bouquet of sunflowers for Sunoo (some people claim that there was only one bouquet for both of them).
Mina gave the bouquet to Sunoo, and since Ni-ki was on the other side of the stage and she couldn’t reach him, she asked Sunoo to give Ni-ki’s bouquet to him so she could take a picture of them. Because of the crowd, the noise, and the chaos, Ni-ki was busy and Sunoo also didn’t understand what Mina meant. Since he couldn’t give the flower to Ni-ki, he returned the flower to Mina.
On July 30, Ni-ki went live, and the summary of what he said was:
"I understand that when you come to concerts, you are excited and looking for interactions with the members. If I were in your position, I would probably be the same. But instead of focusing on taking pictures, recording videos, and giving gifts, please let’s have fun together, make the concert more energetic, and release our energy."
There was no disrespect or mention of Mina in this live, but toxic and obsessive fans attacked Mina with a wave of severe hate, including:
"You used Sunoo to get a SunKi moment."
"You got plastic surgery to be Ni-ki’s type and get his attention."
"Mina thinks she is Ni-ki’s girlfriend!"
When the hate reached its peak, Mina held a live stream, apologized, explained everything, and claimed that everything was just a misunderstanding and that she respected and loved both Ni-ki and Sunoo.
Unfortunately, the haters and toxic fans did not listen and started spreading Mina’s private photos and personal information. The hate reached a point where Mina was receiving comments like "kill yourself." This hate affected the girl’s mental state so much that she decided to end her own life and lost her life during a live stream. Unfortunately, the police arrived at the scene too late and were unable to save Mina.
It does not matter whether you are a hater of Mina, Ni-ki, or Sunoo; a hater is still a hater. By doing this, you are not fixing anything; you are only hurting them.
Anyway, Mina is no longer in this world, and I hope her soul rests in peace. Right now, spreading hate toward Ni-ki and Sunoo and blaming them will not bring Mina back, and by doing this, you are no different from the haters who attacked that girl. You are only showing your own toxicity.
Everyone, Heeseung leaving the group has already been painful enough for ENHYPEN and ENGENEs. Please do not make the atmosphere even more toxic by creating more drama. You already hurt Ni-ki enough because of the "blowing out the candle" issue, please do not hurt him more.
Lastly, there is another issue I want to talk about.
During Heeseung’s live, I saw many hateful comments. Everyone, Heeseung goes live for you with so much excitement and happiness. He is not responsible for fulfilling your expectations or acting the way you want him to. This is who he is; he is a human being. If you love him, love him as he is. If you feel that he is not your type, then do not follow him and do not stream his lives. There is no need to send unnecessary hate and negative energy. I hope you understand that every person has a heart, identity, and personality of their own, and you should not criticize them unfairly. If you do not like someone for any reason, just scroll. There is no need to destroy someone’s life!
