We have always warned about Al Qaeda in Syria's treachery, its deceit and its attempts to fool the Syrians and squander their revolution. We followed closely as Abu Muhammad al-Julani and his gang spared no effort to penetrate and hide as parasites in the body of the Syrian revolution.

They hide behind a new slogan, "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham."
The main component of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham is the Al-Nusra Front, an organization on the terrorist list. This classification is in effect regardless of the label under which it operates and any other group it merges with.

Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham is a merged entity and anyone who joins it becomes part of the Al-Qaeda network in Syria.

The real authority in Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham is Abu Muhammad al-Julani, who is in operational control and whose goal is always to hijack the revolution. His and his group's approach is one-upmanship, which is just another face of tyranny.

The leaders of Jabhat al-Nusra, who control Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, are still committed to al-Qaeda's approach and goals and remain loyal to Ayman al-Zawahiri. They will try to deny it but they are lying.

Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham will not succeed in imposing a fait accompli on the ground that forces us to confront it. Al Qaeda is a terrorist organization that we aim to annihilate and neither a political office, nor an international communication project, nor any other form of deception will change that.

Al-Julani and his gang want to control the opposition, just as Al-Baghdadi's gang wanted. We will deal with Al Qaeda in Syria in the same way we deal with ISIS.

They will try to refute this claim by all available means and say that the US and the West are crusaders who want to destroy all authentic and unified Sunni resistance, but this is complete nonsense. Have they forgotten what they did on 9/11? Have they forgotten the countless crimes they committed against us and against Muslims?

Do not be fooled by these criminals who are determined to bring destruction to Syria and drive the Syrian opposition to suicide.
