"On July 25th, 2012, the FBI broke down the doors of 3 anarchist houses in Portland, Oregon to execute search warrants and serve subpoenas for a grand jury investigating the May Day attack on a federal courthouse in Seattle. Simultaneously, multiple subpoenas were served in Olympia, with more to come in following weeks. Over the next year multiple people were imprisoned at SeaTac FDC for refusing to cooperate with the investigation, while others chose different creative strategies of defiance. The collective refusal to snitch was successful and ultimately no one was charged by the grand jury for the crimes under investigation.

Come hear from 3 people who were targeted by the grand juru about the regional context leading up to the investigation, different strategies of refusal, and important lessons on community anti-repression."

Heres what were reading today, reflecting on the "American Revolution".
"What sort of freedom is promised by the revolution and by whom?" Is the opening question of this zine, Or Revolution? Itself being an excerpt of Sasha Durakov's book The Savage Peace.

"The American revolutionaries were not 'men of their times,' tacitly supporting slavery like everyone else. They were among the vanguard of the slave institution, attempting to put down the possibility of a successful slave insurrection in a period where that possibility was very likely. White supremacy was a structural reaction against civil war, a way of coding inferior bodies to preserve the new revolutionary coalition of house holding men."
