ㅤㅤㅤnearly touched, in that hush
ㅤㅤㅤbetween lines, but fate, ever still,
ㅤㅤㅤchose not to align.
ㅤ so i let the longing settle into rhyme, & watched it fade—one ache at a time. ✱
