LG, following research it apparently did that indicates “Millennials and Gen Z have a ‘culture of collecting expensive designer, luxury and limited edition sneakers’”, releases a pair of internet-connected glass boxes. one will remove smells from your shoes, the other will simply show your shoes on a lazy susan. both are internet connected and feature remote real-time monitoring.
i do not think the verge’s reporting of this is critical enough of the most bourgeoise glass boxes i’ve ever seen.
