I cannot remember if I wrote about this publicly. About a month ago I witnessed a förskola (kindergarten) educator pulling aggressively a little child that was missing the line formation.
By pulling aggressively I mean pulling her hand up above her shoulder and forcefully placing her back in line while the child was putting no force or complaint.
That little person is someone’s child. She was probably around 3-4 years old and I am certain her mother will NEVER know about the mistreatment because children focus on the good memories they make and not often they tell parents about something like such after kindergarten “fun” is over in the evening.
It reinforced my disbelief in allowing a COMPLETE stranger with my child under my absence.
I still cannot comprehend how stay at home mothers OR those working from home, can have the heart so broken and spirit so stolen to put their little children in kindergarten just so they can get “time for themselves”.
I am a very reasonable person and I understand sometimes one needs a little “break”, but that shouldn’t mean departing from your own child. Not to me at least.
Astrid is still with me 24/7, she is attached to me and I will have it that way for as long as we can live and thrive like this. I would never sacrifice her for a wish of “child-free time”. The thought of it just makes me sick.
Witnessing the little girl’s mistreatment right out of my window was a sight I will never forget and something I will ask you all PARENTS to consider if you can afford having the child at home or with family (grandparents, etc).
A group of Swedish leftist personas in the government actually want to make kindergarten compulsory since the age of 2 (or 3 can’t remember - equally bad anyway) and if anything, that is TYRANNY.
I hope I never live to see the day when such a brute legislation passes because under no circumstances I will allow Astrid or following siblings into a crowd of strangers at such a fragile age when they need comfort and family. No.
