"اون بیرون بهار عه؟
اینجا توی هواچون ۱۷ سانت برف باریده.
درحالیکه بعضی جاهای جونبوک هوا بالای ۲۰ درجه‌ست.
کره واقعا کشور چهار فصلی ـه — خیلی شگفت‌انگیزه.

یکی از سربازا خیلی رندوم جلوی مرکز فرماندهی ایگلو [نوعی خونه‌های یخی که اسکیموها میسازن] درست میکنه.
حس میکنم قراره اینجا خاطرات زیادی داشته باشم.
زندگی رو نمیشه پیشبینی کرد./دنیای عجیبی ـه.

دانشجوها ترم جدیدشون داره شروع میشه، بچه‌ها برمیگردن مدرسه و منم بالاخره باقی مونده‌ی خدمتم دو رقمی شده.

هر روز مثل رابین هود روزها رو روی تقویم خط میزنم.
شبیه آدمای درمونده شدم؟
شاید...شدم

شب‌ها بعد از حضور غیاب، همیشه چراغ مطالعه‌ام رو روشن میکنم.
تازگیا کتاب The Art of Loving (هنر عشق ورزیدن) از Erich Fromm رو خوندم که هی میخواستم شروعش کنم.
عشق واقعا میتونه چیزی باشه که 'تمرینش کنی'؟ معنی نمیده.

حرف کتاب این ـه که:
برای اینکه آدم توی نقاشی، گیتار زدن یا درس خوندن خوب باشه، باید صدها بار تمرین کنه تا مهارتاش رو ارتقا بده.
اونوقت چرا وقتی پای عشق وسط ـه که مهمترین چیز توی زندگی یه شخص ـه، فقط همینجوری سعی میکنیم بدون هیچ مهارت و تمرینی عاشق باشیم؟

توی دنیای مدرن ما، عشق چیزی ـه که رسانه‌ها و کپیتالیسم حادش کردند و فقط روی جنبه‌ی هیجان‌انگیزش تاکید شده، اما در واقعیت عشق یه هدف راسخ ـه، یه قول ـه، یه تصمیم ـه.
احتمالا عشق انواع، شدت و روش‌های ابراز مختلفی داشته باشه.
برای ما چطور؟ برای مایی که عشق یه چیز یک به یک نیست، بلکه یه عشقِ یک به بسیاری یا به همه‌ست، چه معنایی میتونه داشته باشه واقعا؟

کسی که توی کار موسیقی ـه چی میسازه و شنونده‌هاش چی میشنون؟
ما به چی نگاه میکنیم؟ به چه چیزی عشق می‌ورزیم؟
من با چه اراده‌ای ۱۱ سال جلوتون ایستادم؟
با همچین افکار حساس و لطیفی وقتم رو گذروندم.
خلاصه که...خوندن این کتاب رو پیشنهاد میکنم.
(۵۰ سال پیش منتشر شده ولی، واسه همین یه سری ایده‌های قدیمی داره)

الان دیگه ۳ ماه مونده. بخوام با درصد بگم، میشه ۱۸٪ .
تا قبل این روز میمیرم؟ حتما مطمئن میشم که در سلامت بیام پیشتون.
هرچی بیشتر توی این تالار اغرارآمیز زمان میرم جلو...این کشش بیشتر حس میشه.
شاید بخاطر این ـه که درجه‌ام الان چهار تا خط داره.
زمان عین چی داره آروم میگذره، اما حتی اگه ساعت پادگان رو وارونه کنی بازم عقربه‌هاش حرکت میکنن.
سعی میکنم سر و تهش کنم و عقربه‌هاش رو بچرخونم و ۵۴۰ درجه کجش کنم اصلا. هر کاری ازم بربیاد میکنم.
تمام تلاشم رو میکنم تا از این فرصت برای اصلاح قلب و افکارم استفاده کنم و برگردم.

چیزای زیادی برای تعریف کردن دارم؛ هم از طریق موسیقی هم حرف زدن.
الان دیگه بهار شده، بهار داره میاد! (بعد از اینکه ۱۷ سانت برف پارو شده بشه البته)
دقیقا همون موقع که با خودتون میگین "فکر کنم هوا بگی نگی گرم شده، مگه نه؟"، میایم و انقدر میریم رو مختون که از دستمون خسته بشین.
تا اون موقع امیدوارم همتون بترکونین.
خب دیگه باید برگردم سراغ وبتونی که داشتم میخوندم.
امروز هم دوستتون دارم، درست مثل همیشه.

این هم یه هدف ـه هم یه قول.

"Is it spring outside?
Hwacheon just got 17cm of snowfall.
But I heard somewhere in Jeonbuk it's been above 20 degrees.
South Korea truly is a country where the four seasons are all so clearly present, such a cool nation.

Umm
Suddenly, one of my juniors has started making igloos in front of the barracks.
I feel like I'm going to have so many memories to take away from this place
Yeah..
It's a strange world.

At around this time, college students are probably going back to college,
and school kids are probably starting a new semester.
For me, finally, my days in the military have fallen to the double digits
I feel like Robin Hood,
crossing out the days on my calendar.
Have I become a castaway?
Maybe.. I might have

After we do the evening roll call,
I always spend my leisure time reading.
Recently, I read Erich Fromm's 'The Art of Loving',
which I'd been meaning to read for a while.
The art of loving, what on earth could that mean?
Love as something that you have to work for.. that doesn't make sense.
In a nutshell, this is what the book talks about:
In order to be good at painting, or playing the guitar,
or being good at studying, we practice hundreds of times to develop our skills.
So then why, when it comes to love, the most important thing in a person's life, do we just try do it, with no skill, no practice?

In our modern world, love is
something that's intensified by the media and capitalism, and only the drama of it is emphasised but,
in reality, love is a determined resolution, a promise and a decision.
There are probably many different types, and temperatures, and expressions of love.
What about us? Not a one-to-one love, but a one-to-many or many-to-all love, what could we be?
What does the person making music make, and what do the people listening to the music hear?
What are we gazing at,
what are we loving?
With what resolution have I been standing in front of you for 11 years?
I spent some time with these tender thoughts. 
The conclusion... I recommend reading the book.
(It was published over 50 years ago though, so it does have some old-fashioned ideas)

Three months left now. In terms of percentages, that's 18%.
Will I die before then? I'll be sure to greet you in good health.
This hyperbolic time chamber ¹... the further I go, the stronger gravity feels.
Maybe it's because I have the four lines now.²
They move so disgustingly slow, but the hands on the military clock do move, even if you hang the clock upside down.
I'll try hanging it upside down, and turning the hands, and tilting it 540 degrees, I'm trying it all.
I'll do my best to come back to you with my love and my heart reset.

I have so many things to tell you, both through music and through language.
It's spring now, spring's coming!(After the 17cm of snow has been cleared)
Right when you start to think "It's gotten kinda hot, hasn't it?"
We'll be out and bothering you so much it gets annoying.

"It snowed here and while doing the snow removal I had snowball fights. I am quite good at snowball fights.
I recently became a 2nd class sergeant. I'm now 2nd here in hierarchy and soon will be 1st in the pecking order. I worked hard and became a special force warrior and on my journey to working hard I broke a rib or two but I’m on way to recovery now. I am on a diet currently and cutting down my weight to 70 kgs. I have read a lot of books whilst I’m here, Eana noona gave me a lot of books to read, she gave me so many that I haven’t even read them all. I don't have insomnia here. I fall asleep as soon as I lie down but waking up early in the morning is something I’m still not used to yet.
I miss ARMY a lot, so I pass my time by watching concert videos quite often. I just want to get on the stage and dance and sing my heart out.
One of my junior mates here learned the Black Swan choreography and asked me to watch it but I seem to have forgotten the choreo. I am watching Buried hearts by Park Hyungsik these days.. I even watched Hobi hyung’s I Live Alone episode and I’m so sad that I wasn’t able to go to the concert and get a chance to see Army

"اینجا برف بارید و موقع پارو کردنش، برف بازی کردیم‌. تو جنگ گلوله برفی کارم خیلی خوبه.
تازگیا گروهبان دوم شدم. الان اینجا رتبه دومم و بزودی رتبه اول میشم. سخت تلاش کردم و جنگجوی نیروی ویژه شدم و توی مسیر این تلاش‌هام یکی دو تا از دنده‌هام شکستن، اما الان رو به بهبودی ـم. درحال حاضر رژیمم و وزنم رو دارم میارم تو بازه‌ی ۷۰ کیلو. وقتی اینجا بودن کلی کتاب خوندم. Eana نونا یه عالمه کتاب داد بهم تا بخونمشون، انقدر زیادن که هنوز حتی همه رو نرسیدم بخونم. اینجا بی‌خوابی ندارم. همینکه دراز میکشم خوابم میبره، اما صبح خروس‌خون بیدار شون چیزی ـه که هنوز بهش عادت نکردم.
دلم برای آرمی‌ها خیلی زیاد تنگ شده، واسه همین بیشتر وقتم رو با دیدن ویدیوهای کنسرت میگذرونم. فقط دلم میخواد برم روی استیج و با تمام وجودم برقصم و بخونم.
یکی از هوبه‌هام اینجا رقص Black Swan رو یاد گرفت و ازم خواست ببینمش، اما مثل اینکه رقصش رو یادم رفته بود. این روزا سریال Buried Hearts هیونگ‌شیک رو نگاه میکنم...حتی I Live Alone هوبی هیونگ رو هم دیدم و خیلی ناراحتم که نتونستم برم کنسرت و فرصت دیدن آرمی‌ها رو داشته باشم.

آم، بگذریم. دلم براتون تنگ شده! دوستتون دارم!🩶"
