Additional comments when sending a gift were added in Telegram Beta version v 12.10.0(7019)
Comments for NFT Gifts. When purchasing an NFT Gift to another user, you will be able to leave an additional comment with it. The comment can be either public or private.
When other users view this gifted NFT with a comment on your profile, they will be able to see who sent the gift.
The maximum comment length is 128 characters.
The comment disappears when the gift is transferred.
In short, it’s essentially like leaving a personal note on someone’s profile using an NFT Gift, rather than the regular comments currently available on NFT Gifts.
