Taste of Italy in Old Town Scottdale!

Ciao! Tribal Arya Society (TAS) spent the afternoon walking the grounds of the Scottsdale Water Front. Live music, drinks, and all things Italian lined the sidewalks, creating very colorful and festive surroundings!

Most in attendance had ancestors whom hail from Italy. Never forgot ones roots and aways maintain those traditions once practiced by our forefathers.

Tribal Arya Society (TAS) events are, and always well be, family friendly. Do not allow life to pass you by, connect with us and begin forging life long bonds and beautiful memories with kindred folk! Video to soon come.

Home is where one finds community- a place where the softball with the label "park ball" is always there for all to enjoy; where tiny rural towns without libraries foster stand-alone cupboards to exchange books in a take-one-leave one system without fear of theft or vandalism; it's where salt-of-the-earth people work hard, and play harder, but ALWAYS look out for one another.

Whatever home is, it's always in you & it leaves a void as we move forward in our lives. So don't move forward in such a linear fashion, remember your roots- for that connection is what makes us feel whole, close to nature, and close to our ancestors.

(Part 1)

What does it mean to go back to your roots? What does going home feel like?

Going home is walking barefoot in the grass, or finding brown trout in a shallow stream; hiking a local firetower to appreciate the view (and the 770 stairs to the tower's base); running through cornfields-and looking up at a truly full and uninhibited night sky with the milky way flowing across it.

Going home is freshly bottled honey from mom's own hives and the strawberry jelly she canned; farmers markets with caramel apples straight from the orchard; fresh pecans taken off the ground and split open for the children; it's picking leaves off the chocolate mint plant in the herb garden & tasting its most organic form.
