π FUN FACT: Anyone can try to crack this Bitcoin wallet worth $390K from their browser
In 2015, an anonymous person created a series of Bitcoin puzzle wallets, each harder than the last. Puzzle 71 still holds ~7.1 BTC (~$460K) unsolved after 10 years. A tool called Krackpot lets you try cracking it directly from your browser: paste your address, hit start, your computer hunts for the private key. Find it and 6 BTC are yours, the rest goes to the tool's creator.
The odds are astronomical. But somebody will eventually win. π
