«Its not only Cadaques, but the whole area that is beautiful. If you have a car I would suggest to drive to different towns all over the place:
📍 Ampuriabrava. This is a town that is full of water canals as in Venice (not so beautiful, but you get the idea haha)
📍 Portlligat. This is the town where the painter Dalí used to live. There is a museum that I've been told its worth seeing, but I was not allowed to enter because I did not had reserved a ticket in advance (keep this in mind if you decide to go)
📍 Sant Pere Pescador. This is a peaceful town I stayed last year. The beaches nearby are good.
📍 Escala. Of all the places I've been over there, this one is the one that had more life, specially at night. Also the beach is very nice. 100% recomended.
📍 Further to the south, there is Calella de Palafrugell. Its a small white village and also very famous. The beach will be crowded because is small, but its a place worth to visit.
📍 My favourite and one of the most beautiful villages in Spain (oficially), is Pals. It has a middle age vibe that I love. I remember its beaches were large, but you need to drive a bit to get there.
📍 Not far from Pals, there is Begur. I've never been there but they say its nice too.
📍 In the north there is also El Port de la Selva. Ive been there and I liked it.»
