do games like minecraft start wrapping their "infinite" world at some point?

most implementations of noise functions i've seen wrap at 256 units
so do games like minecraft start wrapping their "infinite" world at some point?
i would try to make my world by stitching together different noise maps but then i wouldn't have just 1 seed for the world
or maybe i can use the "world seed" to generate the seeds that generate the noise maps 🤔

Anyone know whats going on with Unreal Wild ?

I just found out about it, it looks absolutely amazing but there are no updates, the latest thing I could find from them was a youtube comment from 4 months ago. Anyone know anything about it ?

Using webscraped data as parameters for Blender animations. Rending/animation api to connect to?

Hey, I'm not sure the best way to phrase this question, but here it goes.

If I have a scene that I have 5 different weather animations, I can connect it to a an online weather api to get data on rain/snow/sun, and have it swap out which weather animation is played on the scene.

This is basically just swapping out which premade animations I have already uploaded as part of the file based on the incoming data.

Instead of having pre-made animations that swap out, I'm wondering there's some kind of real time rending api that I could send the data to in order to use the data as parameters for the materials/shaders etc, and then go on to render the new animation that's based on the new parameters.

Anyone have any experience with this or could point me in the right direction?

Thanks!
