❗️IMPORTANT DIPLOMATIC ACHIEVEMENT

The Biden Admin has voiced its support for the IDF ground operation in Lebanon so long as it remains limited and localized to the border region.

The White House understands the need to eliminate the immediate threat to Israeli border communities, and backs Israel in this endeavor.

MY TAKE: We'll see how long this support lasts. The duration of the operation will be a factor. The closer we move toward the US presidential election, the less comfortable the Biden Admin will be with Israeli boots on the ground in Lebanon.

We'll also see how long the IDF is able to keep the operation limited and localized. Much will depend on the reaction of Hezbollah and Iran.
