North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has accused the United States of ramping up tension and provocations, saying the Korean peninsula has never faced such risks of nuclear war as now, state media KCNA said on Friday.

In a speech at a military exhibition on Thursday in Pyongyang, Kim said his previous experience of negotiations with Washington only highlighted its "aggressive and hostile" policy against Pyongyang, KCNA said.

"Never before have the warring parties on the Korean peninsula faced such a dangerous and acute confrontation that it could escalate into the most destructive thermonuclear war," Kim said, according to KCNA.

"We have already gone as far as we can on negotiating with the United States, but what we became certain of from the result is not the superpower's willingness to coexist, but its thorough stance of power and aggressive and hostile policy toward us that can never change."

🥴Members of the championship-winning team gathered behind Biden outside the White House as the outgoing President congratulated them on the title. The Celtics also gave Biden a jersey of theirs with his name and the number 46 on the back.

He appeared to confuse the Celtics with a fictional Baltimore franchise - the Maryland city does not have an NBA team - before clarifying Boston's name.

'I don't know any of these guys behind me but they just showed up,' he began. 'I don't know where the hell they came from.

He then appeared to stumble over his words as he quipped: 'The 2024 NBA Champions: the Bals- ... you guys are the Celtics, right?'

Volvo posted a 3 min and 46 second ad on Instagram, shot by Hoyte Van Hoytema, the cinematographer of Interstellar and Oppenheimer.

It goes against every single rule you can think about as a social lead. Length. Format. Over-produced.

Every comment under the ad said it immediately put Volvo in their consideration set. It's fucking fantastic.

Rudy Giuliani on Thursday appealed a judge’s decision last month ordering him to turn over most of his assets to two Georgia election workers to satisfy their $146 million defamation judgment.

After months of collection efforts, U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman on Oct. 22 ordered Giuliani to hand over his New York apartment, Mercedes-Benz, luxury watches, signed New York Yankees memorabilia and cash, among other items.

The former New York City mayor then missed the deadline to comply, but his new attorney has indicated much of the property has since been transferred.

Giuliani, who had consented to much of the turnover order, is now hoping to reverse it, filing a notice of appeal to bring the matter before the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
