“Empty Shelves Joe”: More than HALF of Americans have experienced supply-chain issues (Poll)
53.7% of Americans say they are personally feeling the negative effects of supply chain delays when attempting to purchase common consumer products, according to a poll released Wednesday.
The poll by the Convention of States Action in conjunction with the Trafalgar Group was conducted in mid-October – with many analysts fearing supply chain woes will become even more apparent as the holiday season approaches.
"These numbers reveal that, yes, Americans are already experiencing shortages and delays. When you add inflation into the mix, consumers are also paying more for products and have less money to spend," said Mark Meckler president of the Convention of States Action.
Meckler added that "unfortunately, Washington DC now represents the single greatest threat to the well-being of American families."
