One thing I wish I understood when I started hatesteading was "repurposing"

Being born in the consumer age led me to believe that you had to consume and purchase specific items to achieve goals. It was a minefield of purchases of products and services to get you caught in a loop, where you stay till death.

When I started doing more, I started being more. When I was more I started thinking clearer, with clarity came truth.

Everything we have we compartmentalize, if it's work shit it stays at work if it's home shit it stays at home if it's wignat shit it stays in wignat spheres.

Everything gets put into something, we use containers endlessly and not just metaphysically, we do it literally also.

The array of bags in the picture I use for everything from storing produce, protecting from insects and predators, filtering, cheese making, booze making, fruit preserves making, and occasionally I even carry shit in them!

Learn not to discard, learn to view items as multi or ulti purpose and stop the cycle

Great words from a brother of the channel. There's a lot I wish I would have known in the beginning but there's only one way to find out. You gotta start somewhere. This channel is also here to help. Any questions anyone here will do anything to help. I'm just starting myself this being my second season, still learning. That's why we're here.

Ole Hoss gettin' big son. (This is the luckiest bastard on the planet. He roams around my land, fucking over 10 different woman at his leisure. And I feed the fucker lol)

Also Joel Salatin is a bad mf

Chicken tractor build. First carpenter experience. Need to build rabbit tractor now. Those cute little fuckers are in the freezer now.

Forgot about this. Can't wait to plant 'er. Think I'll get a new one every time I go get feed. Apple tree next.

Already got some beet and lettuce taking off (knew the lettuce would) and a few early broccoli trying to sprout. Hope they don't get too wild before the last frost. I need another tray 🗡💪🏻🐍

#8 don't pout water on them for a few weeks, use a spray to keep soil light and consciously spray over the plant lines. You may not see seedlings for up to 3 weeks so set alarms and spray several times a day to ensure they produce

#7 moisten soil every few hours after seeing, drainage will be really good so you want seeds wet repeatedly to force germination

Forward from: Unknown
#6 sprinkle sifted soil over them or pinch sides of trenches over, don't crush the soil it makes carrots so small even martinious ones cock looks big in comparison

Forward from: Unknown
#5 2 is one, one is none, you'll thin them as baby carrots as they grow ontop of each other, don't forget to eat the carrot green also

#4 tuna tin has a nice rolled edge for small seeds, use a retractable pen and you can push them off the lip like a scoop for accurate planting

Forward from: Unknown
#3 space your planting by putting a ruled edge along it, know your seed distance and sew accordingly

Forward from: Unknown
#2 cut your trenches by using a straight edge, double to triple thickness of the seed

Forward from: Unknown
#1 fluff the fuck out of your soil, add in sand 1:4 ratio, drizzle the soil from your hand into the planters to avoid it getting crushed
