📌 Министр культуры Дании А.Хальсбое-Йоргенсен призывает к разрыву связей между нашими странами в сфере культуры. Отменены выступления в Дании выдающейся, снискавшей мировую славу оперной певицы А.Нетребко, а также гастроли Русского национального балета. Под угрозой срыва другие российские проекты.

🔔 Культура всегда была вне политики, способствовала достижению взаимопонимания и рассматривалась как общее, всемирное достояние. Подвергать культуру цензуре и дискриминации по признаку принадлежности к той или иной стране, той или иной нации, неприемлемо.

❗️ Embassy's comment on the statements of the Minister of Culture of Denmark Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen

📌 Danish Minister of Culture Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen calls for breaking the ties between our countries in the field of culture. Performances in Denmark by the outstanding opera singer A. Netrebko, who has gained worldwide fame, as well as tours of the Russian National Ballet, have been cancelled. Other Russian projects are under threat.

🔔 Contributing to the achievement of mutual understanding and being considered as a common world heritage, culture has always been outside of politics. It is unacceptable to subject culture to censorship and discrimination based on belonging to one or another country, one or another nation.

❗️ Since the beginning of the special military operation, the information space has once again been used as a tool to promote disinformation and fake news, social media platforms are purposefully used to openly intimidate our fellow citizens.

❗️ We especially emphasize that in the course of the special military operation being carried out in Ukraine, the Russian armed forces do not carry out missile, air or artillery strikes towards the cities. The Russian Ministry of Defense holds briefings on a daily basis, during which it reports on the accomplishment of the assigned tasks - the pinpoint incapacitation of military infrastructure, air defense facilities, military airfields and aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, repeatedly noted, no one creates any threat to the civilian population.

📌As good examples of the fakes promotion we give the following publications:
❌FAKE: The “Ищу своих” telegram channel, which is actively advertised, by i.a. Ukrainian government agencies, has published information about Russian soldier Ruslan Marzhanov who allegedly died during a special military operation (a copy of his military ID is attached).
✔️TRUE: Ruslan Marzhanov really died, but it happened 9 years ago - in 2013 - in the Russian city of Pugachev. This is confirmed by local sources.

❌FAKE: The alleged statement by the Central Bank of Russia is being actively spread. According to them the deposits of the population will be frozen to finance the Russian army. Screenshots with such messages from the media and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation are distributed by Ukrainian bloggers.
✔️TRUE: Texts that are so inaccurate (the font, layout, wording are different) copy the style of RBC, TASS and the Central Bank of Russia have never been published on the Russian websites of these organizations. The Central Bank of Russia in recent days has repeatedly stated its interest in the financial stability of Russian citizens, maintaining the normal functioning of the banking system.

🔔In order to prevent the spread of disinformation, the Embassy plans to maintain a special section #ANTIFAKE, which will be regularly updated.

🖋 In the current situation, we appeal to you to remain calm, be vigilant, and focus solely on reports from official sources.
