Did you know?

That in Jewish/Christian Tradition.

This name is pronounced "Ishmaeel"

In Arabic we pronounce it Ismaaeel

Prophet Ismaaeel A.S was not Naturally an Arab, but was raised there.

His name also, was, you could say 'imported'

So his name, according to many scholars is in Hebrew.

"Ishmaeel" is Actually 2 seperate words in Hebrew

Ishma & Eel

[There are many names we know of that end with 'Eel'.

Like Jibr-eel, Mika-eel, Israf-eel and others]

Eel actually means Allah.

Ishma is very close to the word in Arabic يَسْمَعُ "Yasmau'"

Ishma-eel or Isma-eel actually means "God/Allah Listens"

Now, Why that name? "God Listens"?

In Jewish Tradition, it mentions. . .

When Isma-eel A.S was born, Ibraheem A.S was Very Very Old. . .

So he was in Shock that this Child was born, and his Du'a of having a Son has been Fulfilled . . .

So when this Child was Born, Ibraheem A.S got so Excited!

He said! "Ishma-eel!!" Meaning what?

"Allah Listens!!"

And that became his name. . . "Allah Listens" - "Ishma-eel"

‼️ Beware of your Online Relationships ‼️

There is an increasing trend that some brothers and sisters are engaging or even marrying online saying that they want to marry because they have same ideology or supporting certain groups. I’ll show you the seriousness of this issue by sharing a real life story.

This happened within this two years. A sister and a brother met online two years back. They both shared same ideology and supported same group. They started chatting and ended up in love and decided to marry. The brother then visited the girls country and spoke to her parents. They agreed. He then married her stayed with her for certain time and left country saying he will send her visa asap. But after reaching his country, he started avoiding her and not even responding her calls. It’s like he deserted her. It’s like he used her for one month, satisfied his desires and left her. If he don’t want her, he could have said this in beginning itself. She is now depressed and in tears everyday.

Another story: There is a revert sister from Europe. She is very pious. She met a guy online. He is from another part of Europe. They both like each other. She then moved to his country. Then the problem started, this guy have hazimi Aqeedah. He did takfir on her few days later and he kicked her out. She got in to very depressed state. Then she is helped by some people Alhamdulillah. Look the way how so called muwaahid are treating reverts! Subhanallah. It’s a shame and these extremists do all crimes and call themselves “Ghuraba”. Strange world we are living in.

It is really a barakah to find someone like you. It’s true but beware and always aware. We can’t trust anyone these days even if they call themselves muwahid so on. We can’t open their chest and look what is inside. So, be aware of what you doing or you will be ended up in tears. Many people have dual faces and they are not the one whom they guise online. There are good brothers and I’m not blaming everyone but it’s true that there are people with bad intentions as well. Trust Allah and he will give you what is best at right time and if you are interested in someone, make sure he is not from abroad and look from local country, check his background thousand times before proceeding.

May Allah protect every pious muslims,
Ameen

✒ Two Things Hated By The Son Of Ādam

قال النبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : اثنتان يكرههما ابن آدم يكره الموت و الموت خير للمؤمن من الفتنة و يكره قلة المال و قلة المال أقل للحساب

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said:

“Two things are hated by son of Ādam; he hates death while death is better for a believer than trial (Fitnah) and he hates little wealth while little wealth has less accountability.”

Life’s A Reflection Of Yourself

“A son and his father were walking on the mountains.

Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”

To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”

Curious, he yells: “Who are you?”

He receives the answer: “Who are you?”

And then he screams to the mountain: “I admire you!”

The voice answers: “I admire you!”

Angered at the response, he screams: “Coward!”

He receives the answer: “Coward!”

He looks to his father and asks: “What’s going on?”

The father smiles and says: “My son, pay attention.”

Again the man screams: “You are a champion!”

The voice answers: “You are a champion!”

The boy is surprised, but does not understand.

Then the father explains: “People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.

It gives you back everything you say or do.

Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.

If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.

If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.

This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life; Life
will give you back everything you have given to it.”

“YOUR LIFE IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. IT’S A REFLECTION OF YOU!”

To Kiss A Child

From Abu Huraira, who said:

“The Messenger of Allah (Sallahu Alaihee Wasallam) kissed Hasan bin A’lee and Al-Aqra’ bin Haabis At-Tameemee was sitting with him. So Al-Aqra’ said: “Indeed I have 10 children and I have not kissed any of them.” So the Messenger of Allah looked at him and said: “Whoever does not have mercy, would not be given any mercy.” [Authentic Hadith, narrated by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim]

Shaykh Abdur-Razaaq (may Allah protect him) went onto explain:

This Hadith explains the fact that it is from Rahmah (Mercy) to kiss one’s children. It is also a sign of affection and kindness towards them. Such kissing however must be:

1) In accordance with the Sunnah.

2) Upon the sound Fitrah (natural disposition) . Without going beyond the bounds from what is considered as being normal and natural.

The statement:

“Whoever does not have mercy, would not be given any mercy.”

Shows us that whoever does not have mercy towards young children, then he himself would be prevented from receiving any mercy. This is because the rewards and recompense of actions are based upon and will be the same as the type of action that is done. As comes in another Hadith:

“Allah will not have mercy upon the one who does not have mercy upon the people.”

And Allah the Most High knows best.

[PDF] The Principle of Patience by Ibn Taymiyyah Rh

The many instances of Ibn Taymiyyah’s exemplary patience have amazed all those who have come to know of the trials he endured in upholding the traditions of the salaf.
This book is a translation of Qā’idah fī ‘l-Sabr which is included in Jāmi’ al-Masā’il, a collection of Ibn Taymiyyah’s shorter works compiled by our respected Shaykh, the Muhaqqiq Muhammad ‘Uzair Shams. Although the treatise is short, it nonetheless contains much benefit and lessons and illustrates Ibn Taymiyyah’s psychological disposition which strengthened him during his trials and tribulations, and furthermore allowed him to find peace and contentment in situations where most would only fall into despair and depression. Perhaps it will direct us similarly when we face inevitable times of hardship and difficulty.

Q: Indeed some people say that whoever says “La ilaha ila Allaah” enters Jannah?

Hasan al-Basri: Whoever says it, and fulfills its rights and obligations.
