πΏ Escrow Swaps: A New Execution Layer for Tokenized Assets
Stonfiers! We've added escrow swaps β a fundamentally new execution layer β to our liquidity aggregation engine Omniston, and it's already powering xStocks swaps on STON.fi.
π How do escrow swaps work in Omniston?
Until now, Omniston aggregated liquidity across connected liquidity pools. With escrow contracts, the protocol can now execute direct Asset-1 β Asset-2 swaps using resolver-driven pricing. This enables access to OTC (Over-the-Counter) liquidity, which may outperform AMM pool routes and deliver better prices depending on market conditions.
π How do escrow swaps power xStocks?
xStocks β tokenized assets issued by Backed Finance β are the first to access new routes through the escrow layer.
Instead of relying on pool liquidity, xStocks swaps tap into private OTC liquidity through escrow contracts. With trustless, on-chain settlement guaranteed by the escrow mechanism, users gain the best of both worlds: institutional-grade OTC execution with the full security and on-chain transparency.
π Why this matters?
As TON evolves with new assets, liquidity pools, and execution models, Omniston ensures every swap finds the best possible rate β whether through pools or private OTC liquidity. Escrow execution adds a strong layer of safety through trustless settlement, while direct token-to-token execution keeps things simple and reliable. No complex routing, no intermediary steps β just straightforward swaps that deliver deeper liquidity, better pricing, and a safer DeFi experience.
π Fully decentralized, fully trustless
Escrow swaps maintain STON.fi's core principle: complete decentralization. Every transaction is executed through on-chain smart contracts with no centralized intermediaries. The escrow mechanism guarantees that both parties fulfill their obligations atomically β either the full swap completes, or nothing happens. Resolvers provide pricing, but they can't control funds or manipulate outcomes. The result? Institutional-grade execution without sacrificing decentralization or user custody.

Stay tuned β this is just the beginning.
