THE “TREE OF LIFE” IS NOT PAGAN!

This is a term from the Bible that is applied to similar trees in other middle Eastern religions. It is important for Jewish Kabbalah. Some anthropologists haphazardly apply the term to any mythological tree in any culture but that is arbretary (hehe).

The world tree in Germanic religion is called Yggdrasil’s Ash, the world ash or Mimir’s tree.

Celtic mythology includes holy trees as well including hazel but none are called the “tree of life”. This symbol below is modern and new age. Insular Celtic pagans never used this kind of knotwork which comes from Germanic pagans and was only adopted by Christian Celts.

In the final section of this video I argued against the likes of David Reich and the Max Planck gang who say IE languages originated with Iranian farmers south of the Caucasus. I point out l, using podcast clips of Anthony and Mallory, that the "iranian farmer" signal (actually CHG) is on the steppe among Hunter gatherers long before the pastoralists came about and that it is more likely from Georgia than Iran. I got this idea mainly from Davidski and it has now been completely vindicated by the recent paper which shows Yamnaya get CHG ancestry from a population of hunter gatherers around the river Don who picked it up in the Mesolithic. In other words: the Indo-Europeans came from Europe and they were Europeans

When Robert Molyneaux created these two Yamnaya reconstructions, I asked him to do one on the lighter end of the scale, and one on the darker end, to reflect the diversity of skin tones found among them. Some people insist that they were "brown" but the truth is that the complexions of WSH fell within the range currently associated with European people. In the infographic you can see that even the fairest region of Europe, Ireland, has many people in the IV range, whereas the V range to which the darkest Yamnaya belonged, exists among native Spaniards. I myself am IV in the summer but no one has ever mistaken me for an Indian!
