Rina Palenkova (real name Kambolina Renata Igorevna, December 18, 1998 - November 23, 2015) is a student from Ussuriysk who became famous after her suicide. Also associated with her meme Nya.Poka from her last entry, which has become a kind of suicide note.
16-year-old Renata, who uses the name Rina Palenkov on the social network, died on November 23, 2015 at 10:25 (03:25 Moscow time) on the railway in the city of Ussuriysk. The day before, she quarreled with a young man and was photographed at the place where she plans to commit suicide. On the morning of November 22, a post appeared on Rina's page with two selfies against the background of the railway and the caption “nya.bye.”, as well as a post with an audio recording. These posts did not cause any reaction and went unnoticed. Later, gruesome photos from the scene of her death were leaked to the Internet.
Renata's passport surname is Kambolina, after her stepfather's surname, but she unofficially used the surname Palenkov. She was a typical Internet chan who liked bloggers, watched anime and listened to popular music among teenagers.
Rina was born on December 18, 1998 in Ussuriysk, Russia. In 2015, after graduating from school No. 28, she entered the Far Eastern Technical College of the city of Ussuriysk with a degree in Computer Networks. While studying at school and college, she attended the Ussuri "School of Rock Music", where, along with her friends, who took the name "Needless" ("Les Miserables"), she mastered the art of playing percussion instruments. She was fond of playing Counter-Strike, had an account on Steam. In addition, she was interested in rail transport.
Rina's funeral took place on November 27, 2015, with about 150 people attending.
And even though the epicenter of events is long behind us, and we have returned to routine life, but the end of November will now again and again resurrect in our memory the bright image of a girl who turned out to be too defenseless against the harsh reality of the Russian hinterland. Girls whose death once touched even the heart /b/. A girl whose act changed reality - and thus gave her short life meaning. Over the past four years, we have all changed, some of us have matured, some have aged at all, and only Rina has remained unchanged as a 16-year-old girl...
