‼️ The budget for the year 2025 was approved in the Pokrovsk community: 14.5 million hryvnias for the media and 60 million for the salaries of the leaders...
The corresponding order has been published on the official website of the Pokrovsk MGA.
According to the document, the approved budget was adopted on December 17, but the order itself was only published today, December 30.
Thus, the total revenues of the local budget for the year 2025 amount to 656 million 937 thousand 48 hryvnias.
Here are some expenditure items for the year 2025 that were approved:
◾41.9 million hryvnias – salaries of Pokrovsk MGA employees;
◾19.2 million hryvnias – salaries of Pokrovsk city council employees;
◾7.2 million hryvnias – for the municipal law enforcement service;
◾98.6 million hryvnias – liquidation of emergencies and natural disaster consequences;
◾146.9 million hryvnias – education department, of which 116 million hryvnias are for teacher salaries;
◾15.2 million hryvnias – healthcare department, of which 1.8 million is for salaries;
◾41.8 million hryvnias – social protection department, of which 30.4 million is for salaries;
◾21.6 million hryvnias – culture department, of which 15.2 million hryvnias are for salaries, as well as 2.1 million for library activities, 1.5 million for museum and exhibition activities, and so on.
But special attention should be paid to the housing and communal services department of the Pokrovsk city council. More specifically, its expenditures as approved in the document.
The total amount of these expenditures is 198.5 million hryvnias. Of which 2.6 million is for employee salaries. Another 34 million hryvnias are allocated for the improvement of populated areas. However, it is not specified which areas exactly, because if you look at the map of the Pokrovsk community, unfortunately, most villages are either occupied or active combat is taking place there. And in Pokrovsk itself, there is no talk of any improvement – not even garbage is being collected.
Another interesting item in the expenses of the Pokrovsk housing and communal services is financial support for the media – a whopping 14.5 million hryvnias. Can you guess who this support is provided to? Most likely to the television, which was taken into communal ownership in 2024 and which has a close relationship with the Pokrovsk authorities.
So, we see the familiar picture – tens of millions for salaries, support for municipalities, and "pocket" media. All this while thousands of people in the community are left without electricity, gas, communication, and basic support.
Journalists from the "KAPRI" television have written an official request to the Pokrovsk MGA because we want to know how taxpayers' money is being spent and whether it is appropriate to spend them in this way. Later, we will definitely inform you about the response that the Pokrovsk authorities will provide us.
