Conor McGregor’s legal troubles stemming from Game 4 of the 2023 NBA Finals aren’t over yet.

The former UFC star, found liable in November for sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room while intoxicated in 2018, is facing a civil suit from an anonymous woman claiming McGregor sexually assaulted her at the Kaseya Center on June 9, 2023.

The suit, filed Tuesday in Florida, stems from an incident reported days after the Heat-Nuggets game, during which McGregor was part of the in-game entertainment and famously sent Heat mascot Burnie to the hospitalwith a punch.

This lawsuit accuses McGregor of battery and the arena with gross negligence in keeping a safe atmosphere by continuing to serve the boxer alcoholic beverages after he was allegedly intoxicated.

The Miami Heat, who hosted the Finals game on June 9, were also named as a defendant in the lawsuit for allegedly over-serving the Dublin, Ireland native.

Additionally, Basketball Properties LLC, which operates the Heat’s Kaseya Center, is listed as a defendant.

President Trump is considering issuing an executive order once in office that would suspend enforcement of the TikTok sale-or-ban law for 60 to 90 days.

Trump has been mulling ways to save the day for the wildly popular video app, talking through unconventional dealmaking and legal maneuvers; these include the executive order that could unravel the Biden administration’s nationwide ban of the app now scheduled for Sunday.

MSNBC calls Pam Bondi the ‘Attorney General of Trump’s dreams’ 🥰

They say she won’t rule out discussing criminal prosecutions with Trump, prosecuting reporters, and prosecuting Trump’s prosecutors… oh, and she thinks Kash is a great pick to lead the FBI.

Sounds like a dream come true!

Steven Greer started a podcast today because, according to him, "we have a group of people that are coming forward within 72 hours about the UFO issue"

Some of Greer's "whistleblowers" in the past have been full of shit, and Greer sure likes to set himself up as a narrative gatekeeper.

I'm cautious with this one. We'll see

ICYMI: Former Vice President Mike Pence’s organization, Advancing American Freedom, is urging senators to vote against confirming Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over his stance on abortion.

In a letter first obtained by The Daily Wire, Advancing American Freedom lays out five detailed questions for Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). It points out that Kennedy formerly said that a woman should have the right to abort her unborn baby, and the government shouldn’t be involved, “even if [the baby] is full term.” Such a position is “completely out of step with the strong, pro-life record of the first Trump Administration,” wrote AAF President Tim Chapman and Chairman of the Board Marc Short.

“While RFK Jr. has made certain overtures to pro-life leaders that he would be mindful of their concerns at HHS, there is little reason for confidence at this time,” they continued. “There are hundreds of decisions made every day at HHS that either lead our nation toward a respect for life or away from it—decisions about federal funding for Planned Parenthood, regulations on the abortion pill (currently accounting for three out of every five abortions), insurance coverage of abortion, and more.”

Biden when asked if Trump can receive any credit for the ceasefire: Is that a joke?

Biden's own State Department hours later:
We, of course, thank the Trump for working on this ceasefire agreement. We think it's important that they were at the table.

Two of Jeffrey Epstein’s buddies could be in line to receive a large financial payout thanks to a $112 million tax refund that has made the late pedophile millionaire’s once dwindled estate flush with cash, according to a report.

Epstein
’s longtime lawyer Darren Indyke and accountant Richard Khan — who are the co-executors of his estate based in the US Virgin Islands — are likely to reap part of the new tax reward now that most Epstein victims have already received settlements for the abuse they suffered, according to a report by the New York Times.

The fact that the duo — who have been accused civilly of aiding and abetting Epstein — could cash in while victims’ damages are already capped has some victims outraged.

“I think its morally objectionable for anyone other than a victim to benefit from acts of injustice and wrongdoing,” victim Marijke Chartouni told the Times.

“Victims continue to suffer,” she said.

NEW: Aides to President-elect Donald Trump have asked three senior career diplomats who oversee the U.S. State Department's workforce and internal coordination to step down from their roles, two U.S. officials familiar with the matter said, in a possible signal of deeper changes ahead for the diplomatic corps.

The team overseeing the State Department's transition to the new administration, the Agency Review Team, has requested that Dereck Hogan, Marcia Bernicat and Alaina Teplitz leave their posts, the sources said.

While political appointees typically submit their resignations when a new president takes office, most career foreign service officers continue from one administration to the next. All three officials have worked in both Democratic and Republican administrations throughout the years, including as ambassadors.

Trump, who will be inaugurated Jan. 20, pledged during his presidential campaign to "clean out the deep state" by firing bureaucrats that he deems as disloyal.

"There's a little bit of a concern that this might be setting the stage for something worse," one of the U.S. officials familiar with the matter said.

JUST IN: Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) was elected this week to be the new chair of the Senate Steering Committee, the senator confirmed to Axios.

The
group serves as a sort of Freedom Caucus for the Senate. It includes many of the most conservative Republicans in the conference, though there is no formal roster, and hosts a weekly lunch.

Some of the key players in Steering were big supporters of Scott's unsuccessful bid for leader — both in 2022 and 2024 — so it is not a surprise he managed to win the Monday evening vote.

Scott hosts regular dinners at his home with Senate conservatives — many on steering — and Freedom Caucus members, he told Axios in an interview last year.

He also chairs the Senate's committee on aging.

The Mexican drug lord who founded the Sinaloa cartel with Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman is in plea talks with federal prosecutors in Brooklyn, New York, to resolve his case before a trial that could yield the death penalty, an assistant United States attorney said during a hearing Wednesday.

Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, 76, has pleaded not guilty to a slew of federal drug and weapons charges. He had been wanted in the U.S. for more than two decades when he landed over the summer at a small airport in New Mexico where he was taken into custody.

"The parties have been engaged in discussions to resolve the case pre-trial," federal prosecutor Francisco Navarro said.

The judge asked the parties to return to court on April 22 and, in the meantime, to keep working on a plea deal. No trial date has been set.

A trove of nearly 200 artworks by Hunter Biden has been destroyed — one of the casualties of the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, The Post has learned.

The controversial art had been in storage near the Pacific Palisades home of Hunter’s Hollywood attorney Kevin Morris and is valued at “millions of dollars,” a source close to the Biden family said.

Morris, who loaned the first son nearly $5 million to help pay a tax bill and has been financing a documentary on him, lives in a sprawling five-bedroom, six bathroom home which is among the few houses still intact in the posh neighborhood, The Post can confirm.

Last week, as the fires began to rage, President Biden said his only son’s home in nearby Malibu may still be intact. “Today, it appears that it’s still standing. They’re not sure.”

AOC among House Democrats not attending Trump’s second inauguration

Eyes have been on Ocasio-Cortez, a once-firebrand progressive who has since shifted center-left during her terms in Congress, to see whether she will attend the inauguration of a man who she has vigorously opposed in and out of campaign season.

Ocasio-Cortez told the Washington Examiner that she will not be attending the inauguration.

“I think it’s the general kind of safety and logistical chaos in that event. I’m opting out,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

The Washington Examiner reached out or talked to every House Democrat ahead of the election. Including Ocasio-Cortez, 35 lawmakers responded to whether they would attend the inauguration or not.
