The vault had seven anonymous signers, but they weren't enough to stop the drain.

Base's infrastructure wasn't compromised, and Aave's core contracts aren't implicated.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $6.34 billion in net inflows during Q3 2026, reversing the roughly $5 billion in net outflows that plagued Q2.

BTC posted a 42.71% price gain over the same period.

The rebound also tightened the link between ETF flows and BTC price action, with correlation or causation likely both, and fund issuers not complaining either way.
