Four years ago today, WHO and communities around the world made a historic commitment to eliminate #CervicalCancer — and since then, 17th November is marked as Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action.

I thank all the health workers who are playing a critical role in this global effort.

Only with strong leadership and sustained investment can we achieve our shared goal of equitable access for communities most in need.
