Deep in the heart of the countryside, there was a mysterious forest that few dared to enter. The trees were gnarled and twisted, and the path was shrouded in a thick mist. Yet, despite the eerie atmosphere, the forest held a certain allure.
One day, a young girl named Lily decided to venture into the enchanted forest. She had always been captivated by its secrets and longed to explore its hidden wonders.

Suddenly, Lily stumbled upon a small, glowing orb hovering in the air. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before, emitting a soft, ethereal light. Intrigued, she reached out to touch it

يستخدم هذا الزمن للتعبير عن حدث وقع في الماضي وانتهى تماماً، سواءً في الماضي القريب أو الماضي البعيد .
( Subject + verb + - ed )
Ex:
