Doug Emhoff has admitted to having an affair with the family nanny 15 years ago, after a UK newspaper claimed he got her pregnant.
The woman, Najen Naylor, was also a teacher at the school his children attended, according to the Daily Mail. Emhoff was still married to his first wife, Kerstin. It's alleged Naylor didn't keep the baby.
“During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions. I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side," a statement to CNN read. The outlet said the information was disclosed to President Biden's vetting panel four years ago.
