As per the Supplies for Unoffending Combatants Crushing Environmental Enemies Decree (SUCCEED), the New Carolinia Petroleum Company would like to offer a 25% discount on all fuel sales to the Ohio Reich to support their tanks against the Californian menace. Diesel, gasoline, natural gas and liquid propane fuels are all available at reasonable prices.

After intelligence confirmation of the arrival of vile polluters from California into the greater Chicago area, military command has seen fit to expedite air mail shipping of several 2,000 pound welcome gifts on forward operating bases within Ogden Dunes as well as highway 12, a major access road for the area, as a reminder that environmental crime is not okay. The only comment from our airborne mailmen was that (and quote)
"The air defenses were so pathetic, I could have flown the mission in my sleep"

The Bureau of Intelligence released a statement that Intelligence Officers will now monitor the waterway cleanliness situation in Indiana more closely.

New Carolinian blockade forces intercepted some form of enemy craft today returning from the Cuban shore. The Intelligence Bureau reports that these are likely used to ferry supplies across the gulf. Any such craft detected will be impounded.
None will interfere with New Carolinian justice

Extensive portions of Dominican Republic jungle have been cleared with airborne napalm. Still burning, Goose Creek command set up a beachhead at Les Cayes, beginning a thorough clearing operation towards the primary New Carolinian fort at Port-Au-Prince to ensure no terrorists exist to threaten land supply lines while troops push north east.
The fire will surely have scattered them to the roads; command expects heavy resistence as this lesser of two enemy bastions is fully conquered over the next few days. The pirate filth in the jungles of the other island will continue to be starved while this operation is underway.

Miami has been cleared. There remain no obstacles to the siege of Cuba. There were eight confirmed deaths and an additional thirteen casualties among allied paratroopers. Their families will receive a military death stipend as per the law, with embellishment for heroism.

An ultimatum has been delivered to the pirate filth hiding in the jungle, surrender or be burned.

Tampa and Havana have been relieved, but while operating in the latter of the two zones the remnants from Tampa migrated to Miami, reinforcing their attack. The operations area has been expanded, fast attack boats are en route to control water egress as additional paratroopers are flown in from the North. ETA: Four Hours

In the South, the siege continues. Attempts to negotiate have been made but have been so far unsuccessful.

Minor skirmishing recorded in Havana, Miami and Tampa. The Goose Creek fleet will remain in position. Norfolk fast attack boats expect to respond within several hours for relief operation.

The Goose Creek Fleet launched an offensive siege today on the unsecured portions of the Cuban isles. The siege is comprehensive, blocking off all access and supplies from all angles. A series of small pushes into the jungle have been as of yet unsuccessful, but it is only a matter of time before these foul terrorists buckle under the pressure.

The fleet's aircraft carrier has been deployed for this operation. Victory is expected.

Fast attack boats arriving from Norfolk this afternoon quickly turned the tide on the vicious terrorists attacking the New Carolinia oil rig. After chasing away the enemy naval forces the situation mutated into a siege.

With the threat of enemy reinforcements removed an intelligence officer stationed aboard the rig was able to free himself and the prisoners long enough for amphibious kill teams to board the station and clear it of hostiles. No casualties have been reported, though some of the hostages have been beaten, owing to the savagery of the terrorists.

The enemy naval forces are thought to have retreated to the west into Matamoros. The offenders will be hunted down and killed without mercy.

!!!URGENT NEWS BULLETIN!!!
Just now the news station is receiving word live from our choppers and from High Command of an ongoing series of attacks by nefarious pirates.
It seems that an oil rig has been captured and the crew held hostage. Simultaneously multiple attacks on New Carolinian colonial ports have been put to the raid by the same terrorists, who are claiming responsibility for these attacks.
While largely ineffective against fleet assets, the Navy is not able to safely prepare ships for launch. Martial Police are currently engaging the enemy.

....!~ We have just received word that the Norfolk Command has just dispatched several fast attack boats in order to aid our brave citizens aboard the oil rig; the ships are expected to arrivevin the gulf by mid morning.

Just today, work on the preliminary pipeline for the New Carolinia Grand Pipeline Restoration Program was completed. This exciting development returns petroleum access across the coast to 20% of its pre-war capacity. The bureau of economics filed a report stating that oil, fuels, plastics and all other manner of petroleum based products will make their way back into the hands of the people within the next two months as refineries are restored to their optimum working conditions.

The Department of Conservation also released a memo reminding the citizenry to be careful with their plastic, especially around water. The memo contains an advise to the bureau of economics that factories should continue to use paper and wood for product packaging.

This update brings with it a massive boost in the wealth and sustainability of the New Carolinian empire and her navies, further consolidations in the gulf coast are sure to follow.
