Исполнительный директор Северного Форума Владимир Васильев приветствовал участников первого заседания «Детского Арктического совета» в Анадыре.
В рамках мероприятия школьники 8-10 классов узнали о странах арктического региона и о выдающихся российских дипломатах. В формате игры ученики представили государства и общественные организации, которые включены в состав Арктического совета.
Владимир Васильев отметил, что в рамках российского председательства Северный Форум, как организация-наблюдатель в Арктическом совете, принял на себя достаточно серьезные обязательства по организации целого ряда крупных мероприятий и проектов. В связи с этим расширяется география, укрепляется сотрудничество Северного Форума со многими регионами и организациями.
Первое заседание «Детского Арктического совета» состоялось при поддержке регионально-общественной организации «Школа новых возможностей». Мероприятие направлено на продвижение интересов Российской Федерации: развитие детского и молодежного международного сотрудничества, распространение опыта детской народной дипломатии, установление международных контактов со школьниками арктических регионов нашей страны, других государств и общественных организаций.

The Northern Forum Executive Director Vladimir Vasilev welcomed the participants of the Children's Arctic Council first meeting in Anadyr
At the event, the students of grades 8-10 learned about the countries of the Arctic region and outstanding Russian diplomats. The students presented the countries and public organizations of the Arctic Council in a game format.
Vladimir Vasilev noted that under the Russian Chairmanship, the Northern Forum, as the Arctic Council observer organization, has assumed heavy obligations to organize a number of major events and projects. Because of that, the geography of the Northern Forum is expanding and its cooperation with many regions and organizations is getting stronger.
The first meeting of the Children's Arctic Council took place thanks to the regional public organization supporting innovative projects “School of New Opportunities”. It aims to promote the interests of the Russian Federation: development of children's and youth international cooperation, sharing children's public diplomacy experience, establishment of international contacts between the students of the Arctic regions, other countries and public organizations.
