Patriotic Alternative East MidlandsOn the 20th of September, members from Patriotic Alternative East Midlands went on a 4 mile trek through Sherwood Forest.
Along the way we visited The Major Oak, estimated to be around 1000 years old. Pictures on the tree's description panel illustrate a bygone era of Britain at its proudest.
Sherwood Forest is now a 450 acre nature reserve. It is home to 1000s of rare birds and insects. We even spotted lizards darting about.
We, the indigenous people of Britain, the custodians of these great isles, now preside over industrial urbanisation of our home at an unprecedented scale.
