My credentialed academic background is in Psychology/human cognition. I’m no PhD, but I understand a few consequential things inside the discipline, and one of them is this: The advice below is materially and patently unfit.
One of the basic tenets of supportive therapy for cases of focalized abuse/trauma, in nearly all approaches, is to have the patient surround themself w/ trusted friends/family/“safe” loved ones, while maintaining a degree of individual separation in day-to-day activities of life, to allow healing to transpire.

The advice below however is stating to people *who are clearly mentally ill and need help*, that family members —> are their abusers
