💎 Looks like Telegram is running out of time

TON Core published the smart contract for the future Telegram Wallet, and less than 24 hours later validators had already accepted it on TON mainnet. The key part of the infrastructure is now ready: a new wallet type can already be created and used directly on the network.

🔝 What changed

⚫️ TON Core published the future Telegram Wallet smart contract
⚫️ Validators accepted the wallet code in TON mainnet less than a day later
⚫️ The contract code is added through network configuration
⚫️ The new wallet type is already available at the blockchain level
⚫️ This means Telegram Wallet is moving from “coming soon” to actual mainnet infrastructure
⚫️ The speed of the vote makes the rollout look urgent, not ceremonial

🔝 Why it matters

⚫️ Gram Wallet is no longer just a button waiting inside Telegram
⚫️ The on-chain contract layer is already being prepared under it
⚫️ Validator approval means this is becoming part of TON’s base infrastructure
⚫️ Telegram can now build the user-facing layer on top of a wallet type already accepted by the network
⚫️ The pace suggests Telegram may be trying to catch up with its own deadline before the public rollout

Telegram keeps teasing Gram Wallet as a massive launch. But TON validators have already moved the contract into mainnet reality. Now the question is simple: is Telegram preparing a polished release, or just racing the clock?
