General Mohammad Jafar Asadi, deputy commander of Khatam al-Anbiyaa HQ:

– Bashar al-Assad said to one of our (Iranian) officials in a meeting: 'My soldiers have truly become either smugglers or thieves, they only defend those who offer them bribes and privileges. They could not defend me, and when I wanted to protect at least Damascus, I realized that they were not able to protect Damascus either.'

– Bashar al-Assad did not allow us (the IRGC) to go help the Syrian Arab Army, although he asked us for assistance in the past, but this time he not only did not ask, but he was worried about us arriving, and said that 'if you come, Israel will probably attack us'.

– Turkey is a part of NATO, and we should not see or accept the presence of this country and its influence anywhere outside of America and Europe. Turkey is a part of them, and with this attitude, it serves America. America is active behind the scenes.

– It seems that the factions present in Syria will clash with each other based on their own different interests. Maybe separating Syria is Turkey's desire, because they have been coveting a part of Syria for a long time.

est aussi possible que la Syrie se dirige vers un schéma de fragmentation :

- Une république alaouite au Nord-Ouest (Lattaquié et Tartous).
- une république arabe sunnite au centre (Damas-Homs-Alep).
- une république Kurde au Nord-Est (Kobané-Hassaké).

L'HTS savent très bien qu'ils ne peuvent pas s'aventurer à l'Est ou à l'Ouest, car contrairement à Alep, Hama ou éventuellement Homs, ces populations Kurdes et Alaouites leurs sont fondamentalement hostiles pour des raisons soit ethniques soit confessionnelles.
D'autant plus que les Kurdes peuvent compter sur le soutien de Washington qui joue un jeu assez pervers contre Ankara, et les Alaouites, mise sur un soutien russe potentiel, puisque ce serait une catastrophe stratégique pour la Russie que de perdre le port de Tartous, qui est son seul ancrage en méditerranée et sa tête de pont vers l'Afrique.
Sans Tartous, la Crimée n'a plus vraiment de centralité stratégique. La Crimée n'a pas pour vocation de contrôler un grand lac (la mer noire), mais d'offrir à la Russie une capacité de projection vers les mers chaudes.

Cependant, si elle venait à advenir, cette fragmentation n'existerait de jure qu'après quelques années. Mais de facto, elle existe déjà en quelque sorte.
