Uni made sure I fall drastically behind on my Schedule but here we are.

This is Rin a favorite OC of mine that I Don't talk about enough. This is one of my favorites scenes in his story where he's facing his grief and the changes that it brings.

For the sake of my sanity and grades I decided to do 13 songs only this year!

congratulations to @mahour_arts for reaching 20k on Instagram!

thanks to this challenge I got to try a bunch of style and ideas that I had postponed for awhile. I always wanted to try my hand at art nouveau (a very amateur attempt I know :3) and what better character to try it on than the qajar queen herself!

It's been challenging but a really really fun piece to work on. thank you for this challenge and thank you to little lady for posing for me throughout the whole process!

P.s: I had to physically restraint myself from giving this dramatic lighting.

P.s 2: the dead hand represent me after drawing little lady hair Xb.

ثبت‌نام دوره‌ی حضوری کمیک پائیز شروع شد!
برای اطلاعات بیشتر میتونین به اکانت تلگرام @Shahrzadcomics پیام بدین.

این تابستون تجربه‌ی عجیبی بود، اولویت‌ها و آرزوهامون تو یک شب زیر و رو شد. آخر بهار، من و صدف از دانشگاه تورین پذیرش‌هامون رو گرفته بودیم و داشتیم برای دریافت وقت سفارت ایتالیا آماده می‌شدیم، اما اون شب جمعه، همه‌چیز عوض شد و این‌جوری که به نظر میاد، فعلاً از مهاجرت خبری نیست. اما اتفاقاتِ دیگه‌ای افتاد که باعث شد با همه‌ی سختی‌ها، هنوز هم امید داشته باشیم.

حالا قرارداد اولین کتاب خودمون رو با یه نشر مستقل آمریکایی بستیم و صدف هم میتونه ارشد تاریخ علم رو تموم کنه!

یه توضیح کوتاه هم از روند دوره بدم:
کلاس من، روایت تصویری کمیک، در مورد طراحی دیجیتال نیست. بلکه در مورد ماهیت کمیک‌هاست. ما باهم سعی میکنیم یک داستان رو با خط خوانش صحیح و مسیر اصولی، تولید کنیم. مهارت قلم شما توی این کلاس یه موضوع فرعیه و اگر جرئت کشیدن استیک فیگور رو داشته باشید، می‌تونین کمیک خودتون رو کارگردانی کنین‌!
کلاس صدف هم مبانی داستان، شخصیت‌پردازی و ژانر برای کمیک‌هاست!

به امید دیدار و یک پائیز خنک و پر از کمیک‌های زیبا!

I'm super excited to finally share that I’m part of the How to Touch Grass anthology! 🌱

I had the chance to collaborate with the amazing writer, Madi on this comic, and we worked on Sizdeh Bedar and the long lived tradition of knotting grass as our theme. One of the fun challenges of this anthology was that we could only use the colors of grass! It was such a fun and meaningful experience for me personally, all the way from the first idea to the final page.

سلام به همگی!

کمیک کوتاه ما، گورزاد، از امروز در نمایشگاه آنلاین LDComics منتشر شد، و تا پایان ماه جولای قابل خریده. اگر خارج از ایران بودین و تهیه‌اش کردین امیدوارم از خوندنش لذت ببرین. 🤍

این کمیک ۱۸ صفحه‌ای بیشتر مثل یه پایلوت برای گرافیک ناول هست و من و صدف واقعا دوست داریم که بتونیم در آینده گورزاد رو داخل و خارج ایران منتشر کنیم.

خلاصه‌اش رو اینجا میذارم و حتمالاً تو ماه پیش رو قراره کلی در موردش صحبت کنیم:

"Graveborn is an urban fantasy story set in modern-day Tehran. Payam, a medical intern who sees djinns, must secretly save a patient targeted by one. While hospital staff can’t explain the worsening condition, Payam has to find a way to ward off the djinn without drawing too much attention."

Somehow he found his way back to the pond, it's not like the last time he visit, he feels warm now. Though he can't where the warmth is coming from ...

Let me post this before I lose my sanity completely. Last part of this small collection, I had a lot of fun drawing these pieces and I think this might be my favorite yet!

I'm gonna try and not disappear into the void again (I said that like a lier. Goes into the void).
