The Gnostic Question — by Richard Storey & Keith Woods

Get it HERE

“Is the Left a Gnostic Death Cult?” — with this provocative question headlining a livestream in 2022, Keith Woods reignited debates over the religious shades of modern liberalism.

In The Gnostic Question: Debating the Religious Shape of Modernity, Richard Storey and Keith Woods confront the dark underbelly of modernity, exploring how ancient religious ideas and archetypes underlie the crisis of the modern West. From liberal statecraft and the frenzy of wokeism to the cult of technology, they offer competing diagnoses of the metamorphosis of Western civilisation, yet converge on the need to recover the deeper spiritual roots of the European soul.

Opening the Debate on Remigration

Alain de Benoist, patriarch of the French New Right, and Jean-Yves Le Gallou, author of Remigration: For a Europe for our Children, begin the new conversation about European migration policy.

Should we be talking about “implementing a policy of reversing migration flows", or about remigration, plain and simple? And what about racism?

📕 NEW! DDG BOOK CLUB!

Tonight on DD Geopolitics, we’re doing something a little different.

For this special-edition book club, Sarah sits down with Austrian author Alexander Markovics to discuss his new book, The Rise of the New Right.

What exactly is the “New Right” — and how different is it from the movements commonly described as the Alt-Right, nationalism or contemporary right-wing populism?

Beginning with the movement’s origins in post-war France, we explore one of its most surprising intellectual influences: Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci, whose ideas about culture and political power helped inspire the New Right’s concept of “metapolitics.”

We discuss Alain de Benoist, liberalism and “totalitarian democracy,” populism versus demagogy, the politics of guilt, immigration and the social contract, technocracy, ecology, the New Right’s critique of nationalism, humanitarian intervention and the concept of “humanitarian imperialism.”

We also examine Carl Schmitt’s distinction between friend and enemy, the concept of Great Spaces, the relationship between Europe and the United States, Germany’s place in an independent Europe, and how these ideas intersect with the emerging multipolar world.

Finally, we ask what the New Right actually looks like today — and whether movements commonly presented as defenders of European civilization are defending European traditions or simply another form of liberal modernity.

The Rise of the New Right was published by Arktos in March 2026.

Alexandros Dolgov – Reordering Labour in the Age of AI and Remigration

"A durable civilisation cannot rest on individual rights alone. A society that focuses exclusively on rights lacks the institutions necessary to form people of skill, character, and responsibility; over time, this deficit is compensated for through bureaucracy, procedural control, and an expansive welfare state."

"The New Colossus presented the problem: Man is the decisionless executor of an alien will (the will-to-machine, the unconscious consciousness of pure beyng).

The Electric Will
poetically, if not exactingly, defined the problem: Man’s will is neither “to live” (Schopenhauer) nor “to power” (Nietzsche); rather, will is a metaphysical urge bent on tyrannical homogeneity and man’s purpose is to set the conditions for the manifestation of purebeyng — metaphysicality — in the physical realm.

Finally, Supreme Being sketches the outline of a solution meant to be filled in by thoughtful study.

Each of these studies of will is meant to stand alone, though each serves as a companion to the others."

Richard Storey – Peter Thiel vs Pope Leo XIV: Two Visions of the Antichrist

Richard Storey on the conflict between the "Woke Pope" and technocrat Peter Thiel.

"All in all, Pope Leo XIV is to the right of both Trump and Thiel, opposing abortion, euthanasia, the death penalty and gender ideology in schools. Thiel is a married gay man who funds life-extension ventures and, asked by Ross Douthat whether the human race should survive, produced what Douthat had to call ‘a long hesitation’."

"In the end, liberation is not communion with despotic pure beyng, but the solitary assertion of the hidden self.
