🚨 Aave v3 Loop Safe Module Exploit

Aave v3 Loop Safe Module was exploited for around 114 ETH.

The attacker bypassed Safe authentication and used arbitrary module execution to drain WETH and Aave collateral from two Safe multisigs.

Around 1,300 WETH in debt was repaid to unlock the collateral.

The vulnerability has been patched, and NEAR Intents expects to resume operations within ~1 hour.

The team estimates the loss at ~$3.8M and says all affected funds will be fully compensated.

Deposits and withdrawals on several networks will remain paused for around 12 more hours while the Omni infrastructure is fixed.
