How are ye?
Did you watch the conversations or stories?
What did ye think?
I'm pondering trust today, it's been around the ether for a while. Who do you trust, why do you trust them, do you trust until you've a reason not to, do people have to earn your trust or something else?
Do you research people, or meet them where they are and with what they present to you?
I trust the divine which then shows itself as my trusting everyone, until they do something to make me wary. I meet people where they are and choose to believe they are being truthful and real. I don't research people, or check them out. I'm a feeler, does it feel right.
Rest assured I have been deceived and taken for a fool in my trusting. Does this then mean that I become cynical and distrusting - not yet.
Where does forgiveness come into your trust equations? When someone has broken your trust, do you forgive and continue? This usually depends on how much or how invested you are with the individual/organisation/entity involved.
Our trust has been severely attacked, those whom we trust to govern have abused their positions and our trust. Some of our teachers and guides have also shown themselves to be untrustworthy. Lies and deceit abound at this time, or more accurately are being unveiled. This is a very difficult and tricky road to navigate. It calls ourselves into question, it has the ability to totally derail our sense of self. It can create doubt in every sphere of our lives and with everyone we meet.
Love guides me to forgiveness, to trust, to hold onto my core belief in the power of love and that even if someone is not being truthful that is about them, it does of course make me wary of every word and action that comes out of them. Not great, but it also bolsters my confidence in declining things that I may have said yes to.
Trust is a hornery character, it is necessary if we wish to live in harmony, trusting that all is as it should be and all will be well. This is a loving response for me. To trust is to love.
We all exhibit our trust and love in different ways. My way is not yours, it is imperative that we all live in accordance with what resonates for our highest good. Being honest and trusting our divinity.
Fear plays a part in trust, identifying what/where/how fear is at work aids in making trust decisions. It is also wise to remember that if someone you love does not trust another, it does not mean that you do not trust them, heed the warning, take care and proceed in your truth.
Trust is something that still teaches me, whether I learn is another conversation entirely 😘
I would love to hear your musings on trust.
