💵 $15.3 million taken by two schemes that met investors in group chats
On 29 September the Securities and Exchange Commission filed two complaints in the Southern District of New York. Cryptoaiml misappropriated more than $12.5 million, TSAI Pro more than $2.8 million.
Both claimed to be regulated by the agency and posted a falsified Form D on their sites. The first ran WhatsApp group chats with AI trading «signals»; the second rented out trading bots that did not exist. Investors who tried to withdraw were told their accounts were frozen until they paid a fee.
