Names that belong to Telegram only!
Setting Telegram names or pictures that belong to them, such as service message pictures, for example, may lead to risks!

Consider not putting anything related to Telegram as a picture or name on your profile as a law you abide by, otherwise you will end up getting deleted the account.

In other words, do not pretend to be Telegram by set Their photos and names for your channels or profile..

Be careful if asked to change your account info

If you were offered to change your account settings, such as bio, name, or profile photo, in return for premium subscription, immediately refuse it.

Telegram continues to promptly delete accounts that seek to look like official ones — for example, if an account has the Telegram logo as their profile photo, or the support account phone number in their bio, it might get deleted.

There is an increased number of reports regarding this issue.

In the past, Telegram has already deleted accounts with names or usernames that had the words “Saved Messages” or “Telegram” in them.

As the days passed, we realized that things had deteriorated, and everything returned to the way it was, so “Telegram Beta” began to appear again.

However, we have to stay updated on Telegram to update you.

This indicates that "Telegram" does not appear on the start screen in one of the beta versions of Android

An attempt to open Telegram confirmed to us, and we then saw that “Telegram” did not appear on the start screen, This is evidence that Durov is planning to change or alter some things.

Stories for Channels. Users can grant their favorite channels the ability to post stories by giving them boosts.

Channels collect boosts by sharing their unique boost link – each Premium user has 1 boost that they can assign to any channel.

As more people boost a channel, it levels up – allowing the channel to post more stories per day.

To get the boost link for your channel, go to Channel Info > More > Statistics > Boosts. More info on boosts and channel stories is available in our FAQ.

Future features for Telegram Premium subscribers
In the future, boosts will also unlock other features for channels, such as custom reactions, emoji statuses or custom backgrounds. We’ll also introduce more ways for channels to get Boosts.

This is what the founder of Telegram said in his message below.

The day has come. Telegram channels can now post Stories!

Stories on Telegram are more visible than in most apps, because they are displayed right on the main screen. Obviously, we couldn’t let channels flood users with Stories without reasonable limits: this would create too much noise in your Chats.

This is why we designed the Boost system. With Boosts, users can give their favorite channels the ability to post stories. More boosts mean more stories per day for a channel. Every 24 hours users can reassign their boost.

In the future, boosts will also unlock other features for channels, such as custom reactions, emoji statuses or custom backgrounds. We’ll also introduce more ways for channels to get Boosts.

To prevent abuse, only Premium users can boost channels. It shouldn’t be hard to collect Boosts for channels with real subscribers, while those with fake followers may struggle (larger channels need more Boosts to unlock stories).

Let the Boost Hunt begin! 🏹

Channel Boosts FAQ

Channels can now share stories. If you're a Telegram Premium subscriber, you can help your favorite channels by boosting them.

With your 🌟 Telegram Premium subscription, you get one boost on top of your other perks – which you can give to any channel. Channels that reach Level 1 are able to post one story per day. The more boosts a channel has, the more stories it can post – letting users decide which channels they want to see stories from.

Q: Why do bigger channels need more boosts?
A: To reach Level 1, a channel currently needs boosts from 0.1% of its subscribers. So, more subscribers mean more total boosts are required.

Q: How many levels are there?
A: There are 100 levels. A Level 100 channel can share up to 100 stories a day.

Q: How long does my boost last?
A: Once you boost a channel, it keeps your boost unless your Premium expires or you decide to boost another channel.

Q: Can I switch my boost to a different channel?
A: Yes, you can move your boost to another channel every 24 hours.

Q: Can I buy spare boosts?
A: Currently, that’s not possible. We may introduce more ways to get boosts for channels later.
