There is absolutely a reason the curators of the terror act did not utilize a blond girl (re Trepova - cafe blast killer of a journalist) or a group of Slavic looking neo nazis - as it would reinforce whom Putin is fighting.
They used an ethnic minority, who barely speak Russian - it raises old wounds, and opens up new ones in a country where 150+ ethnicities live side by side for centuries.
This is the reason ALL MSM immediately yelled "ISIS" - "for what Russia did in Syria, Chechnya", etc. They all have their own angle to stroke. A parallel reality they created decades ago and continue to live in.
