After living in Greece for some time, I am very blackpilled on the spiritual and political state of the Greek youth. One of the greatest criticisms of our movement (being based in the anglophone diaspora) is that we remain completely out of touch with the pulse of the country at large. However, after having witnessed firsthand the level of social, spiritual, and political degradation, I can now confidently say that I am honored to be of the diaspora.

In so many ways, our distance from our homeland has forced us to cling on to a more patriotic, religious, and nationalistic worldview, one that has been derided as antiquated and archaic.

Let it be said, I believe that the hope for Greece remains in its diaspora. This is where the bulk of the traditional and patriotic thought and ideology are being generated, free from the perpetual humiliation ritual that Greeks in Greece are subject to, courtesy of the cabal of European and American elites who wish to fashion an inoffensive and toothless version of Hellenism that can be packaged and sold to tourists and the global consumer economy.

The youth in Greece is completely preoccupied with escaping the economic death sentence that has been placed on the next generation. Therefore, they abandon the traditions and values of the Greek people in favor of advancing themselves monetarily.

By being isolated from this situation, Greeks abroad are indeed "out of touch" with modern Greece. I believe that this is for the best. I do not want the next generation of Greeks to inherit a politically and economically broken society, and the only way to escape this is to continue to preserve Hellenism abroad and reintroduce it when the time is right. Our isolation from modern Greek politics, pop-culture, and politics, has allowed us to maintain higher levels of religiosity, patriotism, and dedication to Greek nationalism.

It’s pretty obvious that Greece needs to reengineer the geopolitical landscape of the region. Obviously, the region is increasingly unstable and there is a need for the Greeks to secure new alliances.

These alliances need to be made not only through a realpolitik lens, but also based on values and ideals. There are plenty of countries which make optimal regional and global partners that do not further risk Greece of foreign geopolitical entanglements.

Throughout the Balkans and Europe, there is a growing discontent with the rules based order and the status quo of EU/American hegemony over foreign policy and defense politics. Greece has an opportunity to carve itself a new bloc based on mutual defense, economic cooperation, and alignment on values ultimately based in Christianity and Orthodoxy.

🇺🇸🇹🇷🇸🇾TRUMP ADMITS HE AND ERDOGAN PUT SYRIA’S LEADER IN POWER!

"I was very responsible for Syria, and the man that's running Syria now is a person that I put there, along with Erdogan and some others. He's done an amazing job of pulling it together. He's not a Boy Scout, but he's done an amazing job of pulling it together."

One of the broader issues with Greek society basically comes down to state building and the failures of the government. As many people may know, the Peloponnese region was where most of the actual fighting took place during the Greek revolution. Most of the soldiers and the talented generals came from this region and this is essentially where most political power was located once the Greek state was actually established after the conclusion of the war.

Whereas, most of the wealth of the Greeks was located in Asia Minor and Constantinople, the Peloponnese was the poorest part of the Ottoman Empire and certainly the least developed. When it came time to finally organize the state, it was the poorest and least developed part of the empire that created most of the institutions and ministries of the nascent Greek state.

Almost all of the wealth and power that remained in the East after the revolution never made it to Greece, since the borders never grew enough to encompass Constantinople, and most of the people who finally came to Greece in 1922 arrived as destitute refugees.

You can actually see how Greece today resembles something like a third world country in many ways. We consistently rank lowest in the EU in terms of development and infrastructure, coupled with an inefficient state and a weak economy. The only way for Greece to build itself up requires a wealth and knowledge transfer from the Anglophone diaspora to Greece itself.
