🇨🇦 She joined ISIS, came home, and now Canada pretends this is just a legal housekeeping matter
Kimberly Polman left Canada to participate in ISIS activities, married an ISIS fighter she met online, sat in a Syrian detention camp for years, was brought back to Canada in 2022, and only now has pleaded guilty, as reported. That is the Trudeau-era state in one case file: borders for everyone, consequences for no one, endless sympathy for people who choose civilizational enemies over their own country.
Notice the ritual framing. Poor health, PTSD, personal struggles. The system always finds its violin when the offender fits the approved redemption script. Try getting that level of institutional tenderness if you are a taxpaying Canadian watching your country import instability, then spend public money rehabilitating it after the fact. A sovereign nation would treat joining ISIS as national betrayal, not as another managed reintegration exercise for the NGO-court-media complex. Canada keeps proving that elite compassion is reserved for radicals, while loyalty, common sense, and national self-respect get treated like the real extremism.
