On Oct 2, the rules for the Crypto Daily Up/Down markets were changed without prior notice. This was a mistake and should not have happened.

We are reverting to the previous rules: markets will resolve based on the Binance 1-minute candle closing at 12:01 ET. This applies to all markets from Oct 8 onward, and the live Oct 6 and Oct 7 markets will be clarified to follow the same rule.

We are also putting a process in place to ensure rules are never changed without notice going forward. Any future rule changes will be announced well in advance.

If you incurred losses as a result of this change, we will be issuing refunds. Details will follow shortly.

We’re introducing Polymarket Protocol V2, rebuilding our contracts around one exchange across market types to make trading integrations simpler.

Alongside it, Data API v2 moves to our on-chain indexer, with consistent response formats and cursor pagination to keep trade and activity feeds stable as new records come in.
