Yesterday, October 7th, we had the true honor of opening the breathtaking photo exhibition “Inspiration” by Metropolitan Mark of Ryazan and Mikhailov! 📸

Guests were invited to embark on a visual journey through Metropolitan Mark’s lens, capturing moments of peace, beauty, and history across various cities and countries. 🌍🏛

The atmosphere was made even more unforgettable thanks to the incredible performance by the Youth Episcopal Choir of the Brussels and Belgium Diocese. 🎶 Opening the evening on stage with a moving selection of sacred and secular songs, the choir continued their performance right in the exhibition hall, filling the space with beautiful harmonies and warmth.

It was wonderful to see so many guests, diplomats, and representatives of the clergy come together to celebrate art, faith, and shared culture under one roof. 🕊

📍 The exhibition is open until October 28th — don't miss the chance to experience it for yourself!

🎶Duo Inspiro Concert for International Music Day

🌟On 2 October, the Russian House in Brussels hosted a concert by Duo Inspiro, dedicated to International Music Day and the start of the new academic year of the Russian language courses.

🎹The audience enjoyed a performance by international competition laureates: clarinettist Anton Moiseenko and pianist Elena Moiseenko. Founded in 2014, Duo Inspiro brings together works from different periods and musical traditions in its repertoire.

🎼The programme featured compositions by Sergei Prokofiev, Charles-Marie Widor, André Messager and Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The musicians’ outstanding artistry and the expressive combination of clarinet and piano created a special atmosphere for this intimate musical evening.

🌐International Music Day has been celebrated since 1975. One of the initiators of its establishment was Dmitri Shostakovich, one of the major composers of the 20th century, who regarded music as a universal language capable of bringing people of different countries and cultures together.

🤓For students of the Russian language courses, the evening was also an opportunity to meet their teachers and fellow students, socialize in an informal setting and start the new academic year together.
