Body Odor Spray Protocol"This article has perfect timing…I’ve been wanting to post about my experience w/ClO2 as deodorant. By sheer accident I found the DioxiCare Ciderm Wound Spray works perfectly for eliminating underarm odor. I had a rather large skin tag in my left armpit (lots of tiny ones in both…not sure what causes this), so decided to “clip” at it to see if it would go away. After clipping it bled a little, so I put the Cidem GEL on it, wiping the excess into my armpit & went about my day. (No other product was applied under either arm because I was not going anywhere that day). At the end of that day that armpit had zero odor. I was highly impressed & knew I had try it under both the next day, which had yard work on the agenda…in the blazing heat of the southern USA. Score…worked like a champ!
Several weeks ago is when I learned about the Ciderm for deodorant. It worked great, but the GEL left too much of a tacky feeling so I tried the Ciderm Wound SPRAY. Two sprays onto my left hand fingers, pat with the right hand fingers & then pat into each armpit. Joila! No odor!…all day. Like Curious, I bathe at night, apply ClO2 in the morning & I’m good to go till the next morning.
This morning, before seeing this article, I decided to try a light puff tap of Caldesene powder on top the spray. Nope, doesn’t work. Don’t try it.
The Ciderm Spray is so convenient, shelf stable for many, many months, and is super inexpensive to use. I purchase from
FrontierPharm.com. Sidenote: the large skin tag is completely gone, and the plethora of small ones are shrinking. Double win!
Background: I stopped using conventional deodorant many years ago. Tried all kinds of “aluminum free” underarm products, only to settle on a salt crystal. Worked for years. Recently I decided to stop using it & look for some other natural product. Nothing has worked like the salt crystal, but I didn’t want to go back to that because I finally realized it was causing a caustic like feel in my mouth. My guess is it had a systemic side effect because I no longer have that problem."
