Just 2 days left until the meetup in Lisbon!🔜📢
How can routine legal matters bring joy to Web3 teams? And why was the decision made to integrate a legal tech startup into Telegram? We met with a speaker and recorded a short interview:

🖇️ Artem Afian, CEO of Delegate Bot, is a first-wave crypto lawyer and a legal tech entrepreneur. He is a well-recognized lawyer practising in Ukraine and a member of the World IT Lawyers Association.

What are the top 3 main mistakes/stereotypes of web3 teams regarding legal aspects?
Thinking that legal is unimportant and can wait. I can say that legal matters are as important as choosing a tech layer. In fact, companies and projects should pay attention to legal issues from day 1.

Why was the decision to create a bot specifically on Telegram and on TON?
First of all, because of its technological capabilities. Cool web apps are an interesting part of the ecosystem. The ecosystem is still developing, and the most interesting part involves trying to build something inside a super app. That’s the main challenge because we don’t want to create a separate ecosystem; we want to be integrated into something significant. That’s why TON.

Contracts: where does the pain end and the pleasure of using begin?
The main pain of contracts is that nobody understands them. All this works as an ancient ritual. We take obligations by carwing them on pieces of wood with signs we do not understand. All of this can be reimagined.

Will it be possible to test one of these contracts directly at the meetup 17.08?
Of course, we can sign it during the event. I'll show how it works, and I hope everybody will have fun. Let's see how legal can bring joy:)

🌍 We are unveiling a new and improved TON Society today. ✨

Here's why! As a community, we aim to:
· Nurture the growth of existing TON networks;
· Support enthusiasts initiating new meetups in their local regions;
· Empower local communities to connect, exchange ideas, forge new partnerships, attract local investors, and help teams build on TON.

To make this happen, we’ve established hubs in different regions worldwide:
🇪🇺Europe
🇹🇭SEA
🇰🇷South Korea
🇮🇳India

Even the smallest participation in your local hub makes a noticeable difference. And we’ve noticed. We’ve long outgrown local hubs and now must unite as a TON Society.

Participating in TON Society means you’re aligning with the mavericks, forward-thinkers, the game-changers, and those who are shaping the world of TON. A future is coming for The Open Network community - it's called mass adoption and driving it all is TON Society.

TON Society is our retreat and our grassroots support network; where our enthusiasm for TON comes alive in spaces local to you, all around the world. If you’re new to TON Society, we’d like to say that you’re welcome here, too. Connect and if you're city is not represented yet come and build your own space in Society, the future is yours!
