White House fraud task force vice chief Andrew Ferguson is blasting California AG Rob Bonta’s wife, Mia Bonta, over her role as a principal sponsor of the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” after Shirley exposed fraud in California. Ferguson said officials who refuse to work with the Trump administration to stop fraud raise “real suspicions” about whether they are benefiting from it, calling it a “huge problem” that the California AG’s wife is working to stop people like Shirley from exposing fraud that the attorney general is supposed to fight.
